This event is embedded within an exclusive agenda organised by the European Commission on development and international cooperation. This forum invites the development community to share ideas and experiences in ways that inspire new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.

The key question we aim to answer during this event is: How can Global Partnerships follow a sustainable agenda, when their working realities and strategic objectives are differing and how then, can they create real benefits for locals?

Without a joint project management methodology partnership approaches between the public and private sector are prone to fail. Together with our partners, we showcase how “Project Management for Sustainable Development (PM4SD)” can help partnerships with creating a sustainable agenda. Sustainable Consumption and Production as well as Inclusive Growth play an important role in sight of the United Nations (UN) 2017 International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. The event brings examples from Natural and Cultural Attractions in developing countries, showing the need for functioning partnerships, if aiming at effectively contributing to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the Agenda 2030.
